What we collect when you use the forms on this website, why, and how to change your mind.
Hakeem Hair Studio ("we", "us") runs this website. You can reach us at hello@hakeemhair.co.uk.
If you join launch updates we collect your first name, your email address, and, if you choose to tell us, what you're interested in (products, professional partnerships or hair services). We also record whether you ticked the box agreeing to marketing emails, and when.
If you send an enquiry we collect your name, business or organisation, work email, optional phone number, enquiry type and your message. We use these only to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry.
Sign-ups and enquiries are stored on the secure server that hosts this website, and a copy of each is emailed to the Hakeem Hair team. They are not sold or shared with other companies for their own marketing.
We keep sign-up details until you ask us to remove them or unsubscribe, and for no longer than 24 months without any contact from you. Business enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last reply.
You can withdraw your agreement to marketing emails at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to hello@hakeemhair.co.uk. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If you book an appointment, your details are used to manage that booking, and payments are processed by Stripe. That is separate from the sign-up and enquiry forms described above.
